Dry Fat (in Non-oily Form) from Oily Byproducts
Our patented processes (2008 and 2015) have provided the good solutions for various oily byproducts (including oily fine, which is a byproduct from reducing solid level in grease or oil) to be processed into dry fat products in particle or block form. The dry fat products have higher melting point (above 150 degree F). Hydrogenation process is expensive, which produces dry fat products with melting points at 120-140 degree F. Raw oily materials may be from vegetable, animal or processed sources such as poultry grease, grease fine, yellow grease, tallow, brown grease, oily fine, soap stock or oily byproducts. For grease fine or oily fine, their final dry products in non-oily form contain high-level fat and low-level.
Applications:
(1) As a fat product in dry particle or powder form. For dairy animals, the dry fat product has bypass fat function. Their raw materials are from various oil, grease or oily byproducts.
(2) As a hardness and hydrophobic agent for animal block products
(3) As a binder for heating process for feed applications
(4) As a binder for construction applications, and
(5) As a stabilizer for plastic products.
